Druid Hills United Methodist Church
In response to specific client requirements, P2K Media Group redesigned Druid Hills UMC’s website into an online environment updated and maintained both by staff and by members of the congregation. By deploying a multi-user site, we were able to keep the amount of time spent by staff on the website the same as it was prior to the redesign although site traffic increased 4-fold and updates are far more frequent.
A few specific features to take note of are:
- Highlight links under the site logo call attention to certain areas
- Church Calendar can be accessed by anyone at any time — in fact, it can be added to a user’s existing calendaring software with updates made automatically
- Commenting system on news items allows for questions and feedback
- Social Networking integration at the bottom of every page and every post
- Site traffic has increased by 400% since the redesign was deployed
